Simple, Sensible Management Sells Itself
An experienced, senior executive of a large, State-wide social service organization saw the immediate need for the Mansis Performance Management System in his organization and especially in his Division. His immediate attraction was the System’s simplicity, lack of jargon and especially the practical interpersonal skills such as the Mansis Coaching skill. He quickly registered a selection of his middle and front-line managers in the Mansis Certification Program to learn the skills and knowledge of the Mansis System. Client service prevented registering all the managers at once.
Remarkably (but commonly experienced especially with the support of the senior executive) very positive, on-the-job results began to happen within a day of the workshop, as managers applied their newly learned and practiced skills to address and resolve long-standing employee performance and morale issues, previously ignored or mishandled. The managers now knew what to do, how to do it, and felt they had their senior executive’s support to take the required action. As expected, their job stress started to decline immediately.
But managers talk with other managers. As a consequence, and since the very first group of managers began to experience success from using the Mansis System, there is now a steady stream of managers across the whole organization, self-registering to become similarly Certified. And their decision to learn and use the Mansis System was not based upon promotional literature and advertising, but upon the successful experience and sincere endorsement from their peers.
